When General Motors and Chrysler were in financial trouble… investors owned bonds in these companies. Bonds in a company are property. The outcome of the solutions to the financial problems, resulted in the bond holders losing their investments entirely. However, money ended up in union hands.

There are loan companies in the private sector. These loan companies made student loans. The Obama administration has given the government more power in the student loan business. Taking business out of the private sector…and putting it in the government sector…is taking property from the private sector.

President Obama has shown that he will not try to protect the life of a new born aborted baby. He will try to protect the laws allowing abortion.

The Obama administration did not immediately agree that the government does not have the right to kill non combatant citizens in the United States without a trial.

A sixteen year old US citizen was killed in a drone strike…on President Obama’s watch.

Indeed, the ACLU lavishly praised Paul, saying that "as a result of Sen. Paul's historic filibuster, civil liberties got two wins". In particular, said the ACLU, "Americans learned about the breathtakingly broad claims of executive authority undergirding the Obama administration's vast killing program."   Source…

John McCain refers to Rand Paul, Ted Cruz, Justin Amash as “wacko birds”

I’m pleased that the Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell praised Rand Paul, and  Republican National Committee Chair Reince Preibus urged fellow Republicans to stand with Rand.

Despite McCain’s claims, Paul finally got Attorney General Eric Holder to state in writing Thursday that the administration would not bomb non-combatant Americans who did not represent an immediate threat. Paul’s efforts were praised by other fellow Republicans, including Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, who said he was “proud” of his fellow Kentucky senator, and Republican National Committee Chair Reince Preibus, who urged the Senate’s Republican members to stand with Rand during the filibuster.

If you can’t take it, don’t dish it out. Justin Amash fired back at McCain on twitter, noting the Senators whereabouts during the filibuster.

Name calling among conservatives… is not a good idea. Insults and disrespect among conservatives… are not good ideas.

John McCain should ask himself how he would feel…and for how long…if he was treated in a similar fashion.

This is no tempest in a teapot but rather the leak in the dike. Drip by drip, the Obama administration has demonstrated its intolerance for dissent and its contempt for any who stray from the White House script. Yes, all administrations are sensitive to criticism, and all push back when such criticism is deemed unfair or inaccurate. But no president since Richard Nixon has demonstrated such overt contempt for the messenger. And, thanks to technological advances in social media, Obama has been able to bypass traditional watchdogs as no other president has.

More to the point, the Obama White House is, to put it politely, fudging as it tries to place the onus of the sequester on Congress. And, as has become customary, officials are using the Woodward spat to distract attention. As Woodward put it: “This is the old trick . . . of making the press . . . the issue, rather than what the White House has done here.”

Killing the messenger is a time-honored method of controlling the message, but we have already spilled that blood. And the First Amendment’s protection of a free press, the purpose of which is to check power and constrain government’s ability to dictate the lives of private citizens, was no accident.

The quote above refers to “government’s ability to dictate the lives of private citizens”.  President Obama said, “I am not a dictator”. He tries to dictate to the media.

The Washington Post has been on the side of Democrats in many cases in the past. The Washington Post is not on President Obama’s side in this case. They support the constitution.

President Obama is trying to violate the constitution instead of protecting and defending it…which he swore he would do…in an oath.
