1950 Ford
My car was a 1950 Ford convertible in 1950.
I had a good job at General Motors. I also had a second job at a gas station at the Ford dealer.
Roller skating was a favorite pastime. I had a girlfriend, but her mother told me that I would never be her son-in-law. I deserved her rejection. I had been rude to her.
I was drafted into the US Army in May of 1952.
I was stationed in Fort Eustis, Virginia, which is near Williamsburg, Virginia. One of the people in my company was Arthur E. Silva; we became close friends. He was a undercover CID agent, but kept it secret. I saw information about him on the bulletin board of a nearby company. The captain of the nearby company was convicted of theft.
I was awarded post soldier of the week. I spent a week as an aid to the commanding general of Fort Eustis.
After basic training I missed being shipped overseas, because I went home for my grandmother's funeral. There were several others, who also missed being shipped out.
Four or five of us would go to Richmond on the week-ends. We slept at the YMCA ($3). We went to the USO for entertainment.
Mary sat close to me in the convertible on one occasion. One thing led to another. Mary's mother and sister approved of us getting married. Mary's mother helped to get our marriage license. On June 27, 1953 we were married. We rented an apartment in Williamsburg.

Grandma Wolfrum
My grandmother was coming down steps from the second floor of JC Penny in Defiance, Ohio.
She tripped, fell, and died.
Her husband sat outside in the car, waiting for her.
It was some time before he found out that grandma was dead.
When legal action was suggested to grandpa, he replied, "It won't bring her back"

We were married June 27, 1953 in Resurrection Lutheran Church in Richmond Virginia. We honeymooned in Hampton, Virginia.
Mary was an employee of the Charles store in Richmond, and I was in the US Army in Fort Eustis, Virginia.
Our first home was in Williamsburg, Virginia. We have lived in Virginia, Ohio, Michigan, Texas, Pennsylvania, Indiana, and Arizona.

The final step to affirm President-elect Joe Biden's victory is next week.

Josh Hawley doesn't accept Biden as "The President Elect", and there are quite a few others.
There are a number of US House members, who do not accept Biden as "The President Elect". Louie Ghomert is one.
The Senate Judiciary Committee in Georgia held a hearing December 30, 2020. https://saraacarter.com/watch-georgia-state-senate-hearing-on-2020-election/ The video starts about 6:40. The video runs about five hours. There is no way that the voting systems in Georgia can be trusted. Therefore the elections, made on voting machines that can't be trusted, can't be trusted. The upcoming votes on January 5 can't be trusted based on the Georgia Senate Judiciary Hearing December 30, 2020.
