I was trying to post an Investor’s Business Daily Cartoon. Using this
I got a toolbar in the process… that I didn’t want.
When I removed the toolbar, Internet Explorer quit working, and the tool bar was still there… after I uninstalled it.
I did a system restore, and I believe everything is back to normal.
We support school choice!
We are allowing the US government, teacher unions, and a lot of teachers to lead our children astray.
There will be one less rich person for the US government to redistribute their wealth. Needless to say, where there’s smoke…there’s fire.
The next time you hear global warming discussions: Keep this video in mind. The sun does affect the temperature of the earth.
I was born 2 miles from Ayersville, Ohio…near south ridge. South ridge was formed by a receding glacier…quite some time before excessive CO2 emissions. I don’t believe CO2 emissions had anything to do with that glacier receding. Do you?

Here's a thought to warm some of your hearts....

Hi Yanks, I thought you all would like to see the real
figures from Down Under.
It has now been 12 months since gun owners in Australia were forced by a new law to
surrender 640,381 personal firearms to be destroyed by our own
government, a program costing Australia taxpayers
more than $500 million dollars.
The first year results are now in:
Australia-wide, homicides are up 6.2 percent,
Australia-wide, assaults are up 9.6 percent;
Australia-wide, armed robberies are up 44 percent (yes, 44 percent)!
In the state of Victoria
lone, homicides with firearms are now up 300 percent.(Note that
while the law-abiding citizens turned them in, the criminals did not
and criminals still possess their guns!)
While figures over the previous 25 years showed a steady
decrease in armed robbery with firearms, this has changed drastically
upward in the past 12 months, since the criminals now are guaranteed
that their prey is unarmed.
There has also been a dramatic increase in break-ins and
assaults of the elderly, while the resident is at home.
Australian politicians are at a loss to explain how public
safety has decreased, after such monumental effort and expense was
expended in 'successfully ridding Australian society of guns....' You
won't see this on the American evening news or hear your governor or
members of the State Assembly disseminating this information.
The Australian experience speaks for itself. Guns in the
hands of honest citizens save lives and property and, yes, gun-control
laws affect only the law-abiding citizens.
Take note Americans, before it's too late!

I read some of the liberal's comments. They would have readers believe that Communism is noble...and that society prospers under Communist government. Society in China does prosper...with capitalistic ideas. The other disadvantages of living in China, illustrate what is wrong with liberals and communism. The USSR illustrates what is wrong with liberal ideas. Cuba illustrates why capitalism is good...with recent moves to make Cuba more capitalistic.
The demise of Hostess illustrates the folly of Obama's support of unions. The Teamster’s Union was willing to cooperate with Hostess, but the baker’s union would not. Management proceeded to close down the company. Unions and Obama types... harmed workers in the case of Hostess. The general public has to do without Twinkies as a result of Obama type ideology.
